The Glaciers-Day 3

Today we walked 15km to Lake Matheson and back. On a clear day it has a perfect reflection of the mountains however it was too cloudy to see properly. The lake was still beautiful, so quiet and peaceful. Again totally surrounded by rainforest.

On the way back from the lake we ran into to the German girls again! We went to look at the glowworms again with them, Peter (australian guy) and some more Germans from their hostel. Australians are funny people.

I'm looking forward to moving on. Lake Wanaka is next.
